How do I get started?+
Create a free account at stathoops.com/sign-up, create your team, add your roster, and either upload a photo of your paper scorebook or score a live game in the app.
Is StatHoops free?+
Yes — StatHoops is free during our beta. If we introduce paid plans in the future, current users will receive advance notice and will not be charged without explicit consent.
How do I upload a scorebook?+
From your team's Games page, tap New game and choose Upload scorebook. Take or select a clear, well- lit photo of the book. Our AI extracts the stats in about 30 seconds — review the box score and publish.
My stats look wrong after a scorebook upload.+
AI extraction is accurate but not perfect, especially on smudged or partial books. Open the game, tap Edit, and correct any row. If a scorebook consistently fails, email us the photo at support@stathoops.com — we use real examples to improve the model.
How do I invite parents and players?+
From the Team page, tap Invite. Share the join code or link with your roster. Parents and players sign up, enter the code, and are automatically added with the right role.
How do I report a user, message, or photo?+
In the mobile app, long-press any message or open a user's profile and choose Report. Our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours. You can also email support@stathoops.com.
How do I block another user?+
Open the user's profile in the mobile app and tap Block. Blocked users can no longer message you or see your content. You can unblock from your account settings.
I forgot my password / can't sign in.+
Use the Forgot passwordlink on the sign-in screen, or sign in with Apple / Google if you originally signed up that way. If you're still stuck, email support@stathoops.com.
How do I delete my account?+
In the mobile app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, or email support@stathoops.com with the subject "Account deletion request" from the email on your account. We process deletions within 30 days. Note: team data (games, stats) owned by a coach may persist if the team remains active under another member.
Do you support Android?+
StatHoops runs in any modern web browser today and is available on iOS. An Android app is on the roadmap — email us if you'd like early access.
Is my team's data private?+
Yes. Stats, rosters, chat, and film are visible only to members of your team. Games are private by default; a coach can opt to publish a specific game's box score to a public link. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Report abuse or safety concerns
StatHoops has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. If you encounter anything harmful — especially involving minors — report it in-app (long-press any message or open a profile and tap Report) or email support@stathoops.com with the subject "Safety report." We review every report within 24 hours and take action including content removal and account suspension when warranted.
